2nd RSR MTB Challenge

The 2nd RSR MTB Challenge, hosted by Switchback Nepal, takes place at the little oasis of Riverside Springs Resort in Kurintar. The trails, designed by top Nepali mountain bikers, cater to all skill levels. With successful races like Lamatar MTB and Palpa Urban Downhill behind them, Switchback guarantees a smooth, exciting race for both participants and spectators. The buzz from 2015's event signals that the 2nd RSR MTB challenge will be a thrilling showdown!

 

Switchback is committed to offering top-tier mountain biking events for both rookies and pros. While the trails get tougher, there are always "chicken runs"; easier routes that save time but add a challenge. The course includes two pump tracks, rock gardens, a bridge, Nepal’s only wooden berm, and even a beach along Trishuli’s shores, with plenty of ups, downs, and flat sections through villages and woods.

The race features a 3.8 km circuit for Elite categories and 3.4 km for others, with laps varying by category. Switchback offers 6 categories: Men’s/Women's Elite, Open Women, Open Men, Junior, Masters, and Kids Formula Race.

After the race, join the epic after-party at Riverside Spring Resort’s poolside, hosted by Eleven11, known for unforgettable events. International emcees AMD and FC will keep the energy high, with DJ Ranzen spinning lively tracks and Boyz Next Door playing soulful tunes. Don’t miss this exciting night of music and fun!
